Since the mid-1990s, the new campus of Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main has been taking shape around Hans Poelzig’s renowned IG Farben Building. The largest building so far on the new campus is one of the best and most important structures designed by architects Thomas Müller and Ivan Reimann. In many ways it is emblematic of their working methods and their understanding of architecture.
