On the day of the monument on September 11th, 2021, the exhibition on amelioration and engineering technology was opened in the former machine room of the "Altes Schöpfwerk Vehlgast". In the spirit of a living monument, a space for various activities was also created on the roof level. The office Kahlfeldt-Architekten, Berlin, was responsible for the general refurbishment.
